My Flying experiences
Some accounts of training and trips I have made, including maps and charts where possible.

I did my flight training at Parafield airport, in Adelaide, South Australia. I started training in 1985, and obtained my unrestricted Private Pilot's licence in 1986. My primary instructor was Bruce Hartwig, operator of Pacific Aviation, Piper agents for Australia, so all of my training was done in Piper PA-28 Warriors.

In March 1987, I obtained my Constant Speed prop endorsement, and shortly after made the trip from Adelaide to Launceston in a PA-32 (Cherokee Six).

On these pages are some reflections on aspects of my training, and an account of the big trip to Tassie.

Much has changed since I first got my licence, and my current flying is in Cessna 172's through the Tasmanian Aero Club in Launceston. As I continue to fly, I'll share more of my experiences with you.
